Streamline prospecting efforts with Omnibar + Zoominfo

Zoominfo is a critical piece for revenue teams building top-of-funnel pipeline. Users in the Zoominfo platform and Linkedin Sales Navigator can use the Omnibar to create and enrich new contacts in Salesforce in seconds โ€” and even import them directly into a Groove Flow for streamlined prospecting.

  • In Zoominfo: Find a new contact? Pop out the Omnibar to create, automatically enrich, and save the record to Salesforce in seconds.

  • In Linkedin Sales Nav: Omnibar now connects to Linkedin and Zoominfo to automatically populate enriched data when viewing a contact - allowing you to start working them immediately.

Integration Details

If you are using Zoominfo to research accounts and find new prospects, you can also use Groove's Omnibar on the Zoominfo web application, or alongside the Zoominfo chrome extension to:

  1. View any Salesforce or Groove data related to the people/companies you're reviewing on Zoominfo

  2. Create new Salesforce records if they don't exist already

  3. Immediately add contacts/leads to flows, or create actions to execute later for them

Enabling the Zoominfo integration

  1. Right click the Groove extension in your Chrome browser, and select Options. In the section called Zoominfo, check the box for "Enable Zoominfo integration"

  2. Click "Save" at the bottom

  3. You will see a popup for allowing a new permission. "Click Allow"

Using the Zoominfo <> Groove integration on the Zoominfo web application

Once you're logged into Zoominfo (login here), you will see your Groove Omnibar available to open on the right hand side of any Zoominfo web page. If you are viewing people via a company page, or the person's direct profile on Zoominfo, your Omnibar will try to find that person in Salesforce, and display their contact/lead data if they already exist in Salesforce, or the "+ Add Contact" and "+ Add Lead" buttons if they do not exist in Salesforce. When creating new contacts or leads, Groove also tries to find as much relevant data as possible from the Zoominfo page to auto-populate your New Contact/Lead form for you with fields such as First Name, Last Name, Title, Account, Phone:

Company Page:

Note: From a company page in Zoominfo, the integration triggers Omnibar to detect a different record when you hover over an email address

Direct Profile Page:

Note: on a direct profile page, the integration triggers Omnibar to detect that person in Salesforce when you visit the page

Using the Zoominfo <> Groove integration on LinkedIn

If you have the Zoominfo Chrome extension installed, you can use Zoominfo on other applications such as LinkedIn to help with your prospecting and research. With the Zoominfo <> Groove integration, you can also use the Omnibar alongside the Zoominfo extension within LinkedIn:

Note: you must open your Omnibar in a new window to use it alongside Zoominfo in LinkedIn:

As shown below, your Groove Omnibar now reacts to the LinkedIn pages you are on to show you Salesforce/Groove context, and to create new records if necessary. As in the Zoominfo web application, Groove also tries to find as much relevant data as possible from the Zoominfo extension to auto-populate your New Contact/Lead form for you with fields such as First Name, Last Name, Title, Account, Phone:

Save and Add to Flow via Omnibar

To help with quickly communicating with your newly created contacts, you can "Save and Add to Flow" by clicking on the dropdown arrow to the right of "Save" when creating new contacts or leads, so that you can immediately begin your strategic communication with them:
